Michel Charlot is a Swiss designer born in 1984 in Fribourg. He trained at the Haute Ecole d'Art et de Design and at the École cantonale d'art in Lausanne; later he graduated in Industrial Design. Charlot's work is characterized by a playful and unique approach to design, often incorporating elements of humor and irony. His creations range from product design to art, installation and graphic design. Charlot collaborates with various brands and companies, including the well-known Swatch watch house, the famous Vitra furniture company and Ichendorf, an Italian table decorations company. The designer's projects have been exhibited in various exhibitions around the world, including: Salone del Mobile in Milan, Museum für Gestaltung in Zurich and Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum in New York.
