Giò Colonna Romano is an Italian designer born in Sicily and adopted by Milan, the town which have given him fame. Industrial engineer, designer and entrepreneur, he has used his experience and his competences in the field of plastic molding to create new shapes for the products of daily life. His works, which are characterized by a refined design, want to express above all essentiality, fun and functionality. While designing, he describes himself as an artist who cooperates with industry and, talking about his works, he says he invents nothing, because everything already exists.
