Jan Padrnos graduated at the Czech Technical University in Prague and began his career as a mechanical engineer, then shifted his interest towards architecture and design. At the beginning of the 90s, after completing his university studies, he worked for a period in an architecture studio and then collaborated with a leading furniture manufacturer. In 2000 he founded his company BLACKBOX s.r.o. through which he began to give life to his ideas and creating his avant-garde objects, for daily use but with unusual shapes and with an unconventional aesthetic sense. Collaborates with leading design brands such as Rosenthal, Ton and Triu.
