ODOARDO FIORAVANTI
Odoardo Fioravanti was born in 1974 and got his Industrial Design’s graduation at Design Department of Polytechnic Milan. In 2003 it started to take care of Industrial Design working for the main design brands, both Italian (Flou, Foscarini, Casamania, Pedrali) and foreign (Normann Copenhagen, Incotex, Victorinox Swiss Army). He designed shows, exhibition and commercial spaces such as Telecom Italia, Astronomical observatory of Brera, Polytechnic of Milan). He established “Odoardo Fioravanti Design Studio” and his projects got international prestigious awards among which we can remember “Compasso d’Oro ADI” received in 2011 with Frida chair of Pedrali. In his experience he didn’t forget the graphic art and the show, hence such activity was crowned in 2010 with a personal show named “Industrious Design” at the Design Museum of Triennale Milan. He teaches courses and conferences in several schools and faculties among which the San Marino University, Polytechnic of Milan and Domus Academy. He also works as freelance writer for design magazines.
